We have a student property that we rent out and the shower room was in need of complete refurbishment. We were worried about losing rent while work was being done but because the old plumbing was causing a leak into the flat below the work was urgent. We called Dominic after a friend recommended him and he organised a schedule that meant the work was done while the students were away so that we wouldn’t lose any rent. He worked throughout the Christmas holidays to ensure it was completed in time and the result is fantastic.

We saw a local advert for Springfield Building Services and asked them to give us a quote to install some decking in our rear garden. We wanted an unusual design that seemed to baffle another company that looked at the job but Dominic was un-phased and we agreed for him to start the following week. He came with two colleagues and they worked until 7pm on both days to make sure it was ready for the weekend. We were very impressed with the speed and finish and would highly recommend both Dominic and his team.
We saw a Springfield Building Services van parked outside a neighbour’s house and took the number down as we didn’t know any local builders. We wanted the walls and floor in the bathroom tiled and Dominic gave us a competitive quote and we agreed that he would start the work 2 weeks later. He did a great job and was very professional and he even fitted the under floor heating for us which saved us time and money on a separate company.
We had a damp patch in our spare bedroom and having seen a Springfield Building Services advert rang them for a quote. Dominic came the next day and located the problem very quickly and was able to rectify it the same day. He has since been back to remove a wall between our kitchen and dining room and plastered several walls for us. He is always polite and tidy and his attention to detail is outstanding.
